About the event
Celebrate The Age of Flight with two days of aerial displays and family entertainment. Expect an exciting programme spanning aviation history, from early Great War-era aircraft to iconic warbirds including the Spitfire in its 90th anniversary year, alongside formation aerobatics and the power of modern fast jets performing across the weekend.
Saturday evening then turns into a standout spectacle with the ‘Age of Flight Extravaganza’. The sky will come alive with pyrotechnic aerial displays, light show, illuminated drone formations, and a fireworks finale.
On the ground, you’ll find plenty of street food and bar options, and you’re welcome to bring a picnic too. The experience is rounded out with living history displays including military vehicles, re-enactment camps and equipment showcases, adding an extra layer of atmosphere throughout the site.
