Walk Andover's History

The guided walk will begin at 11am outside Town Mills pub and will end around 12:30pm at the Andover Museum.

The walk will be led by Philip Richards, a qualified Blue Badge tourist guide for the South Central England region and a resident of Andover https://britainsbestguides.org/guides/philip-richards/

Parking is free in the public car parks all day on Sundays, and the nearest to the start location, are the Town Mills car park and Chantry Centre multi-storey car park.

It is a relatively easy walk with no steep gradients, but with some uneven surfaces and steps. Please let the guide know of any accessibility issues and please wear appropriate clothing and footwear based on the weather on the day.

The town has several cafe and restaurant options for lunch after the walk. You may wish to explore the museum after your walk which is normally open on Sundays until 16:00. Details can be found here https://www.hampshireculture.org.uk/andover-museum
