Have fun in Andover during February half term

rwhite880

If you're looking for some fun activities to enjoy this half term, head to Andover where there's plenty on offer for families.

Get creative at Andover Museum's Doodle Room of Memories. Until Sunday 9th March, all visitors will have the chance to draw their favourite memory across the walls of the museum's exhibition space for free.

The museum will also be hosting a communal Lego build from 15th to 23rd February, where you'll have the chance to recreate your memories in 3D.

If you fancy getting out in the fresh air, join Andover Trees United for their Volunteer Conservation Days, happening every Monday from 10am to 1pm at Harmony Woods. These hands-on sessions are a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, learn new skills, and help care for the local environment. No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.

Andover Library will be running a host of free activities during their Green and Thrifty Fortnight, from 15th February until 1st March, including an animal themed construction club and a flagship species trail. They Library will also be running an interactive storytelling and craft session on Tuesday 18th February at 10am which is free to attend and suitable for ages 5 to 11.

Book tickets to watch Creation - The Bubble Show at The Lights theatre on Tuesday 18th February, this show is a feast for the senses with fire effects, poetic puppetry, light displays and bubble masterpieces.

CAS Community will be running an interactive storytelling and mask-making session on Wednesday 19th February, where audiences can listen to 'Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?' and on Friday 21st they will be running a special animation club for ages 12+.

Learn about different cultures and communities in Andover as the The Cultural Sharing Forum will be running a free event in the Chantry Centre on Saturday 22nd February in the indoor garden area. Look forward to lots of free cultural activities, music, dance and more.

InAndover from Andover BID will also be running the Andover Time Traveller's Trail from 15th to 23rd February, this trail is free to complete at your leisure and will take you around the town centre looking for clues that will share some history about Andover.
