The lighting up of Romsey Town never fails to draw crowds and gasps of wonder from onlookers soaking up the magical seasonal atmosphere. The countdown to Christmas kicks off with the Romsey Winter Carnival and lantern parade at 6pm on Saturday 26 November to switch on the market towns Christmas lights.
It's that special time of year when Romsey really starts to twinkle, come along and get in the festive spirit, the event is brought to you by Romsey Town Council and Romsey Chamber of Commerce supported by local fundraising.
Parking is available at Romsey Rapids and Romsey Football Club.
If you want to start the day earlier and get in a spot of Christmas shopping why not pay a visit to Christmas Fair at the beautiful historic Romsey Abbey from 10am to 2pm.
